Windsurfing: Pevensey Wind Direction: NE/E Wind Stength: F3-4 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Started the day with the mother of all hangovers and had been bargaining on
a sail on Sunday rather than Sat (based on the forecast). Stayed the night
in London and noticed the wind on the journey home. Got home, negotiated
with the Mrs and headed off for Pevensey having had a wind report from the
beach. Arrived and it was pretty marginal, but the sun was out and opted
for my biggest kit. Was surprised to find myself powered up most of the
time so checked whether getting upwind was ok (tide was at full flow) then
headed downwind to meet someone who had launched west of the car park.
Said hello and demo'd a Tiga SB81, which was great fun, but as I'm not in
the market for a new board, it doesn't help me to sample new stuff.
As the afternoon went on the boards packed up and the kites came out, which
was weird as the wind actually picked up - still, had a very good time
considering I wasn't expecting to get out at all.
